Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between River Trading Co., LTD. (“the Company”) and users (“Members”) regarding the use of vehicle trading services provided through the Company’s website, www.rivercar.net
The website displays vehicles that are either directly owned and sold by the Company (“Company Listings”) or supplied by affiliated associations and partner dealers (“Partner Listings”).

Article 2. Definitions

1. “Service” means all online functions provided by the Company, including vehicle listings, export documentation, and inquiries.
2. “Member” refers to any person or business that has completed registration and agreed to this Agreement.
3. “Buyer” means a Member who inquires or intends to purchase vehicles through the Service.
4. “Company Listings” refer to vehicles directly owned and sold by the Company.
5. “Partner Listings” refer to vehicle information supplied by third-party associations, cooperatives, or partner dealers that have authorized the Company to display their listings.
6. “Non-member” means a person who uses the Service without registration.

Chapter 2. Membership and Account

Article 3. Membership Registration

Individuals or corporations may register as Members once they have agreed to these Terms and have provided accurate and complete information. Any false or incomplete information may lead to denial or termination of membership.

Article 4. Account Management

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Any damages resulting from negligence shall be borne by the Member.

Chapter 3. Use of Services

Article 5. Scope of Service

The Company provides : 1. Vehicle information posting (Company Listings and Partner Listings)
2. Export and logistics assistance
3. Inquiry communication and consultation
4. Issuance of trade documents such as invoices and packing lists

Article 6. Partner Listings

1. Partner Listings are provided by third-party cooperatives or dealers under data-sharing agreements.
2. The Company is not a direct seller or contractual party for Partner Listings and serves only as an information platform.
3. Any disputes regarding Partner Listings must be resolved directly between the Buyer and the respective partner.

Chapter 4. Rights and Obligations

Article 9. Member Obligations

Members shall not :
1. Provide false or misleading information.
2. Infringe upon third-party rights or post unlawful materials.
3. Redistribute or commercially exploit Partner Listing data without authorization.
4. Interfere with the operation of the website.

Article 10. Company Obligations

The Company shall make reasonable efforts to provide stable and reliable services and protect Member information in accordance with applicable laws.

Chapter 5. Disclaimers and Liability

Article 11. Partner Listing Disclaimer

The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or completeness of Partner Listing information.
The Company shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from Partner Listings.
The Company’s legal responsibility applies only to vehicles it directly sells.

Article 12. Limitation of Liability

1. The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from natural disasters, communication failures, or system maintenance beyond its reasonable control.
2. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of vehicle information posted on the website.
3. The Company is not responsible for damages or delays occurring during shipping, customs clearance, or third-party logistics processes.
4. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption.
5. The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the transaction amount of the relevant vehicle and applies only in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct
6. The Company shall not be responsible for any damages arising from external links, advertisements, or APIs connected to the website.
7. Members agree to use the Service at their own risk.

Article 13. Intellectual Property Rights

and data compilations, is the property of the Company or its licensors. Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any content without the prior written consent of the Company.

Article 14. External Links Disclaimer

The Company’s website may contain links to external websites or resources. The Company is not responsible for their availability or content, and such links do not imply endorsement.

Article 15. Protection of Customer Service Employees

1. The Company’s employees, including customer service staff, are protected from abusive language, threats, sexual harassment, or any harmful behavior.
2. The Company may restrict communication, suspend accounts, or report such incidents to authorities.
3. All communication must be conducted in a respectful and professional manner

Chapter 6. Miscellaneous

Article 16. Privacy Protection

The Company collects and uses Member information only within the scope necessary for providing the Service and in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Article 17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.

Article 1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

River Trading Co., LTD. (“the Company”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect users’ personal information and to appropriately address any related complaints or requests in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 2. Purpose of Collection and Use

The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes, including but not limited to:
1. Membership registration and management – verification of identity, prevention of unauthorized use, and user notification.
2. Service provision – vehicle listings (including partner listings), inquiry management, and issuance of export/trade documents.
3. Contract execution and payment – processing payment confirmations and issuing remittance receipts.
4. Customer support – handling inquiries, complaints, and after-sales issues.

Article 3. Items of Personal Information Collected

1. Individual Members

1. Required: Name, email, contact number, nationality, inquiry details
2. Optional: Address, preferred vehicle, communication channel (WhatsApp, etc.)

2. Corporate Members

1. Required: Company name, business registration number, representative name, business contact, email, remittance proof
2. Optional: Company address, account information (for refund/settlement)

Article 4. Retention and Use Period

1. The Company retains personal information until the purpose of collection is fulfilled or the user withdraws consent.

2. However, in accordance with applicable laws, certain information shall be retained as follows:

1. Records on contracts or payment: 5 years
2. Records on consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years
3. Records on website access logs: 1 year

Article 5. Provision to Third Parties

The Company shall not provide personal information to any third party without consent, except in the following cases:

1. When required by law

2. When necessary to perform a contract with the user (e.g., for shipping or customs purposes)

Article 6. Entrustment of Processing

The Company may entrust certain operations to professional vendors under confidentiality agreements:

1. DHL / FedEx: Shipping and customs processing
2. Web hosting provider: Website maintenance and data security
3. Accounting service: Transaction and tax record keeping

Article 7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives

Users may request to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information at any time by contacting the Company via email.
For minors under 14 years of age, their legal guardian may exercise these rights on their behalf.

Article 8. Destruction of Personal Information

Personal information is destroyed without delay when retention periods expire or the purpose of processing is achieved.

2. Paper documents: shredded or incinerated
